Ham Shoot

So the boys and I went out to the Bountiful Lyons club Ham shoot.  We had a good time. I took my fathers Winchester model 97 and I did pretty good.  I won two rounds out of the three we shot. I shot 12 clays in a row.

So Christmas had come and gone. I haven't had much time at the range now that winter hours are in effect and its a strange time in this country after the Sandy Hook Shooting.  I won't go into my feeling on that other then to say, that if you take the guns away from the reasonable people only the criminals will have them. I never really wanted a AR-15 anyway.

My son did get his fist gun this Christmas and it was in fact a Red Ryder BB gun. It's a pretty sweet little gun. It's still a little too big for him but I look forward to teaching him to respect and love firearms.  My Daughter also got her first bow. we haven't shot that yet but when it warms up we will get to it.
